Gandalf the very very dark grey!

I started this way way way back and just recently finished it– so I’m cringing a bit from the way I color versus then and now. I didn’t realize how dark I made the hair until I did. That sort of bummed me out. But I did this to see how well I could do realism with markers, and I think it’s still pretty good even if his hairs a tad too dark. But as you can see when I got to the bubbles and smoke I was completely done. So done. Just done.

What I used: Copic Sketch Markers, White gel pen, Sepia and Black Multiliners.

Some snapshots of my sculpture finished, he’s now named Gulliver and waiting to be sent to the art show!

Everyone seems so happy in the background, especially Sketchy.
